Buhari's administration to use
recovered funds for jobs
creation

President Muhammadu Buhari has said the
stolen funds recovered from former public
officers would be used for creating jobs for
the youths.
The country leader made a claim on Friday,
April 29, at the NYSC Permanent Orientation
Camp, Gbakuta, Iseyin, Oyo State, PM News
reports.
Represented by Mrs Ololade Agboola of the
Ministry of Youths, Buhari noted:
“One of the disturbing problems inherited by
this administration is increasing
unemployment amongst young people. In fact,
the unemployment situation has taken a great
toll on the Nigeria youths at their prime
productive ages.

Sahara Reporters provides with reference to
its sources within the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) that
the agency has traced N3.6bn in stolen
funds to the former minister of
aviation, Stella Oduah.
According to the report, Oduah who served
under Goodluck Jonathan’s
administration secured several multi-billion
naira contracts to upgrade Nigeria’s 22
airports, however a substantial amount of
the money was pocketed by the minister.
The information was obtained from the
documents which show that only six out of
the 192 contracts awarded in the second
phase were completed.

the Gunners moving back to third in the
league and Newcastle taking a major step
towards EPL safety.

Everton 2-1 Bournemouth

The Goodison Park outfit broke a run of
seven EPL games without a victory to ease
the pressure on their beleaguered manager
from the sack.
An emotional one minute applause to mark
the verdict of the Hillsborough disaster
inquests was observed before the match,
with families welcomed to the pitch in a
show of solidarity with their neighbours
Liverpool.
The home side quickly took advantage of
the fans goodwill spirit by going ahead in
the seventh minute when Tom Cleverly’s
precise strike into Boruc’s bottom left corner
after some neat passage of play opened the
scoring.
The advantage only lasted two minutes when

Joshua King’s mishit shot fell kindly to Mark
Pugh to bundle home and level the scoring
before Leighton Baines put Everton back in
front after 64 minutes with a powerfully
struck shot from Cleverley’s assist.
A late rally by the visitors came to nothing
as Everton held on to only their fifth home
league victory of the season.
Smiling coach of Newcastle, Rafa Benitez
Newcastle 1-0 Crystal Palace
Andros Townsend continues his impressive
rich vein of form to lift Newcastle out of the
relegation zone and boost their hopes of
Premier League survival.
Townsend’s strike, coupled with a dramatic
penalty save from the Newcastle goalkeeper
Karl Darlow ensured a valuable home victory
for the Magpies and instilled a first defeat
for the returning former Newcastle manager
Alan Pardew.
A magnificent 25 yard curling free-kick from
Townsend early in the second half – 55th
minute after he was brought down by Scott
Dann, proved decisive, thanks to the
exploits of Darlow, who got down low to
save a poor penalty from ex-Newcastle
player Yohan Cabaye with 20 minutes
remaining.

The very important victory saw the hosts
take a valuable advantage of Sunderland’s
draw at Stoke City to move out of the
bottom three and give them a strong chance
of avoiding the drop with two matches left to
play.
Stoke City celebrates goals
Stoke City 1-1 Sunderland
Jermaine Defoe’s fourth consecutive away
goal – his 14th of the season overall, was
not enough to keep them out of the
relegation zone.
Sunderland who have only won once in their
last eight matches have now slipped to 18th,
courtesy of relegation rival, Newcastle
United’s home victory to Crystal Palace but
with a game in hand.
Arnautovic opened the scoring in the 50th
minute from Peter Crouch’s knockdown
before Defoe’s injury time penalty equaliser
levelled the scoring.
Sunderland now have two difficult matches
against Chelsea – who are trying to impress
their manager elect, and Everton – whose
manager needs victory to save himself from
the sack.
West Ham players celebrates their victory
West Brom 0-3 West Ham
West Ham boosted their European football
qualifying hopes for next season with a three
goal trashing of the home side.
Mark Noble – who scored a brace in two
consecutive games, and Cheikhou Kouyate –
who scored one and assisted another,
helped West Ham record a comfortable
victory away to West Brom.

Woman killed in crash seconds
after posting on Facebook. Her
last words were heartbreaking!

Stay focused when you are on the road!
Distractions take a motorist’s attention off
driving. So, he can miss critical events,
objects, and cues or abandon control of a
vehicle, all potentially leading to a crash.
Distracted drivers put not only themselves
at risk, but everyone else using the road.

Authorities have used this accident to
remind drivers not to drive while distracted.
Courtney Sanford was driving to work in the
USA when she decided to share some
updates on Facebook, and post a few selfies.

A minute later, she was dead from a head-on
collision.
At 8:33am, the 32-year-old woman posted
“The happy song makes me HAPPY!” on her
Facebook. At 8:34, police got a call about
the crash.
Sanford crossed the median and drove head-
on into a truck, causing her car to catch fire.
She also caused the truck to run off the
road and hit a tree, though the driver was
uninjured.
“In a matter of seconds, a life was over just
so she could notify some friends that she
was happy,” High Point police Lt. Chris
Weisner said.

He added: “As sad as it is, it is a grim
reminder for everyone… you just have to pay
attention while you are in the car.”

Buhari came at the right time - Ngige

Buhari came at the right time -
Ngige

– President Muhammadu Buhari is not yet
one year old in office and Nigerians are
already calling for his head due to the
economic challenges the citizens are facing
daily.
– One time governor of Anambra state and
current Minister of Labour and Employment,
Dr Chris Ngige believes the slow pace of the
All Progressive Congress (APC) led federal
government will still materialise into
something fruitful at the end of the day for
Nigerians
– The former Senator wondered why some
sections of the country believe President
Buhari should be blamed more for the
incessant national problems, which seem to
resist solution.
Dr Chris Ngige, who heads the Ministry of
Labour and Employment said Nigerians
should be grateful to God for the coming of
President Muhammadu Buhari as the
nation’s number one citizen at this time of
economic downturn. He said Nigerians could
be complaining about the various challenges
presently, but thinks, something will be done
to assuage the problems.
He stated: “Well, first and foremost, I have to
thank the Nigerian people for electing us, for
believing in us and our mantra of change. I
can tell you unequivocally here that we have a
four year mandate, and within this period,
Nigerians will smile. The question of being
despondent now after just ten months of the
administration should not arise. You know that
as the Igbos say, to start to cry is usually very
difficult, but when you start, the tears flow. I
am going to tell you that we are in our tenth
month of a-four-year tenure, and a-four-year
tenure is 48 months, so we have 38 months
left.

daughter of the house.
He had gotten home and called the number

asked the girl to meet up with him on an
arranged date, spent a night with her in his
apartment, and the rest they say ‘is history’.

Cheating husband wanted a divorce until his wife did THIS

Cheating husband wanted a
divorce until his wife did THIS.
Her secret made me cry!

We present you a story that took the
Internet by a storm. Married or not, you
should read this! The story will show you
how important it is to appreciate and love
those close to you with all your heart —
while you’ve still got the chance…
“When I got home that night my wife served
dinner, I held her hand and said, “I’ve got
something to tell you“. She sat down and ate
quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her
eyes.
Suddenly I didn’t know how to open
my mouth. But I had to let her know what I
was thinking about divorce. I raised the
topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be annoyed
by my words, instead she asked me softly,
”why“? I avoided her question. This made
her angry. She threw away the chopsticks
and shouted at me, “you are not a man”!
That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She
was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out
what had happened to our marriage. But
I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer;
she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn’t love
her anymore. I just pitied her!
With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted
a divorce agreement which stated that she
could own our house, our car, and 30% stake
of my company. She glanced at it and then
tore it into pieces. The woman who had
spent ten years of her life with me had
become a stranger. I felt sorry for her
wasted time, resources and energy but I
could not take back what I had said for I
loved Jane so dearly. Finally she cried loudly
in front of me, which was what I had
expected to see. To me her cry was actually
a kind of release. The idea of divorce which
had obsessed me for several weeks seemed
to be firmer and clearer now.
The next day, I came back home very late
and found her writing something at the
table. I didn’t have supper but went straight
to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I
was tired after an eventful day with Jane.
When I woke up, she was still there at the
table writing. I just did not care so I turned
over and was asleep again.
In the morning she presented her divorce
conditions: she didn’t want anything
from me, but needed a month’s notice
before the divorce. She requested that
in that one month we both struggle to live
as normal a life as possible. Her reasons
were simple: our son had his exams
in a month’s time and she didn’t want
to disrupt him with our broken marriage. This
was agreeable to me. But she had
something more, she asked me to recall
how I had carried her into out bridal room
on our wedding day. She requested that
every day for the month’s duration I carry
her out of our bedroom to the front door
ever morning. I thought she was going crazy.
Just to make our last days together
bearable I accepted her odd request.
I told Jane about my wife’s divorce
conditions. She laughed loudly and thought
it was absurd. “No matter what tricks she
applies, she has to face the divorce“, she
said scornfully.
My wife and I hadn’t had any body contact
since my divorce intention was explicitly
expressed. So when I carried her out on the
first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son
clapped behind us: ”daddy is holding mommy
in his arms.“ His words brought me a sense
of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting
room, then to the door, I walked over ten
meters with her in my arms. She closed her
eyes and said softly, “don’t tell our son
about the divorce.” I nodded, feeling
somewhat upset. I put her down outside the
door. She went to wait for the bus to work.
I drove alone to the office.
On the second day, both of us acted much
more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could
smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized
that I hadn’t looked at this woman carefully
for a long time. I realized she was not young
any more. There were fine wrinkles on her
face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had
taken its toll on her. For a minute I
wondered what I had done to her.
On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt
a sense of intimacy returning. This was the
woman who had given ten years of her life
to me. On the fifth and sixth day, I realized
that our sense of intimacy was growing
again. I didn’t tell Jane about this. It became
easier to carry her as the month slipped by.
Perhaps the everyday workout made
me stronger.
She was choosing what to wear one
morning. She tried on quite a few dresses
but could not find a suitable one. Then she
sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger.
I suddenly realized that she had grown
so thin, that was the reason why I could
carry her more easily. Suddenly it hit me…
she had buried so much pain and bitterness
in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out
and touched her head.
Our son came in at the moment and said,
”Dad, it’s time to carry mom out.“ To him,
seeing his father carrying his mother out had
become an essential part of his life. My wife
gestured to our son to come closer and
hugged him tightly. I turned my face away
because I was afraid I might change
my mind at this last minute. I then held her
in my arms, walking from the bedroom,
through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her
hand surrounded my neck softly and
naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just
like our wedding day.
But her much lighter weight made me sad.
On the last day, when I held her in my arms I
could hardly move a step. Our son had gone
to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn’t
noticed that our life lacked intimacy. I drove
to the office.…jumped out of the car swiftly
without locking the door. I was afraid any
delay would make me change my mind…I
walked upstairs. Jane opened the door and I
said to her, ”Sorry, Jane, I do not want the
divorce anymore.“
She looked at me, astonished, and then
touched my forehead. “Do you have a fever?”
she asked. I moved her hand off my head.
“Sorry, Jane“, I said, ”I won’t divorce.
My marriage life was boring probably
because she and I didn’t value the details
of our lives, not because we didn’t love each
other anymore. Now I realize that since I
carried her into my home on our wedding
day I am supposed to hold her until death
do us apart.” Jane seemed to suddenly
wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then
slammed the door and burst into tears.
I walked downstairs and drove away. At the
floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet
of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked
me what to write on the card. I smiled and
wrote, “I’ll carry you out every morning until
death do us apart.”
That evening I arrived home, flowers
in my hands, a smile on my face, I run
up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed —
dead.

Dog brought home a plastic bag from a dumpster. Guess what's inside

Dog brought home a plastic
bag from a dumpster. What
happens next will shock you!

Everyone knows Pui, the heroic dog, in his
rural Thailand town, because he saved the
life of a premature baby!
It was an usual hot day. Pui was rummaging
through some garbage, and he came across
something a little out of the ordinary.

The dog picked this strange plastic bag, and
brought it to his owner. The man’s 12-year-
old daughter took a glimpse inside the bag.
And… came face-to-face with a very
premature baby girl.
Immediately they brought the weak baby to
a hospital, where she was hooked up to an
incubator.
Pui became a hero in his town. Red Cross
officials awarded him a leather collar and a
medal as a token of appreciation for his
noble act.
What about the rescued baby? Multiple
families offered to adopt little girl. Also
officials are looking for the mother and
whoever is responsible for the attempted
murder.
It’s amazing that Pui knew there was a tiny
person in trouble. He proved that dogs are
the most loyal man’s friends.

Recently, the federal government through
the National Orientation Agency (NOA)
started promoting the recitation of the
second stanza of the national anthem at
public functions.
A source close to government revealed to
our Agent that there are plans to place
a ban on Christian and Muslim prayers at
public functions .
With awareness campaign on the NOA
twitter handle, it is interesting to note that
most Nigerians are still not aware of this
planned move.

When our Agent tried to get the views of
some residents of the federal capital
territory, Abuja, it was observed that most
Nigerians do not know the second stanza of
the national anthem.
“I think this is the time that Nigeria need
prayers. Whatever you people are talking

then our prayers would be attended to,” Grace
