some military men are making move to
remove him from power by instigating
civil unrest in the country.
“Some top military men through their civil
agents approached us to cause and

CAN president calls for
religious balance and tolerance

– The New president of CAN called on
Islamic leaders to warn people who are
dishonoring them by committing crime
in the name of the religion
– He urged the president to encourage
religious tolerance and balance

monopoly of violence
Dr. Samson Ayokunle who is the new president of
the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has

Christians as fools by giving preference to one
religion above the other.
In an interview with The Punch, the CAN president
urged the president to maintain religious balance so
as not to open the door for lawlessness.
Rev. Samson Olasupo Adeniyi Ayokunle
“I want to advise the present government
to maintain balance and keep close to
constitution irrespective of the religious
