environment met with international singer
and rapper, Akon in New York on Friday, April
22.
Information Nigeria reports that the meeting
was to discuss the Great Green wall project
which is a pan-African proposal set to battle
desertification.
The Great Green wall project is expected to
push the “green” movement in the continent
from west to east so as to put a stop to
desertification.
